Our Role

We build capacity: We celebrate and build on the strengths of the Comanche community. We create resources and pathways to fluency that honor traditional knowledge and contemporary learning needs. We support every language learner, speaker, and community member to pursue their own path in language revitalization and cultural practice.

We connect community: We create systems that bring together Comanche speakers, learners, families, and organizations—no matter where they are—to support language transmission across generations and strengthen collective language reclamation work.

We center Comanche voices: We honor the knowledge of fluent speakers and the commitment of learners—enrolled members and descendants alike—connecting with Language and cultural practice. We ensure that Comanche people lead all decisions about our Language, our cultural practices, and the future of our community’s language revitalization work.
